Sport 35L wheeled suitcase/backpack - black/blue
Easy to use and very well constructed -
A perfect travel case with a retractable handle and rucksack straps
Which can be concealed.
Dual Carry option, price, seems fairly robust Possible size issue for carry on
Not wanting to risk my new ski boots with the 'throwers' at the airport, I wanted a carry on bag to store them.
While not advertised as such, this is absolutely perfect for my size 29 ski boots, plus (and I can't stress how important this is) it has backpack straps as well as the extension handle.
I can wheel my hold bag along with this on my back and then once that's checked in, I take this bag off and wheel it along.
There is a definite gap in the market for a boot bag with a backpack/dual carry design and this comes very close to being the solution.
The only issue is, (and it's potentially a big one) the stated dimensions don't allow for the wheels/scuff guard. This pushes it over the maximum accepted length for cabin baggage for the majority of airlines. In fairness, Decathlon don't strictly advertise this as suitable for carry on, but even so.
However, it is JUST over though and I've successfully used it on 2 Easyjet flights with no issue at all.
Take 2-3cm off the length Decathlon and this is a winner.
Sans the odd sizing, this is spot on and the usual Decathlon quality for value.
Robust build and flexible design Tough to balance the Newfeel messenger bag on top
This bag appealed as it'll be allowed by most airline carry-on policies. It has enough space to pack for a few nights away and has dual carrying options; rollers and a backpack. I already owned the messenger bag in the same fabric so this was an easy purchasing decision.
