You can clean your shoes with a soft-bristled brush. Do not dry near a heat source. In the case of stains use a suede/nubuck rubber and rub gently. We also recommend that you treat your shoes with waterproof spray before using for the first time, and every month after that. For greater hygiene regularly remove the removable insoles from your shoes when they are not being worn. www.newfeel.com
The Newfeel team recommends storing your shoes in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place.
What is CS technology?
The head of the calcaneous bone, located at the middle of the heel, is the main source of pain experienced while walking. That's why our R&D teams designed CS technology which means Circular System. This cushioning system has been patented by the Decathlon group and is used by Newfeel. It involves creating a space under the heel to prevent direct contact with the sole, thus procuring maximum comfort. For more information visit www.newfeel.com
Field testing of products
All Newfeel active walking shoes are tested by representative fitness walkers in conditions identical to those you could experience every day (weather, walk duration, range of ground surfaces). These daily tests allow us to improve our products and provide you with full satisfaction as you use them.
Lab testing of products
Newfeel conducts laboratory tests on all our active walking shoes to validate their properties and benefits.
What are the specific features of active walking shoes?
In running, there are two main stages: a strong heel strike, the foot leaves the ground with a bound and a push off the front foot. In active walking the contact zone with the ground is permanent. The shoe's flexibility is thus essential for enabling excellent foot motion.
What is the difference between occasional, regular and intensive active walking?
"At Newfeel, active walking is broken down into segments by frequency of use: - occasional use: 2 to 3 times a month - regular use: once a week - intensive use: more than twice a week"
